一．基本信息

　　陈玉林，男，汉族，1964年生，河南鄢陵人，二级教授，博士生导师，中共党员。1986年7月毕业于西北农业大学畜牧专业，获学士学位；1989年7月毕业于西北农业大学饲料科学专业，获硕士学位；2000年7月毕业于西北农林科技大学动物遗传育种与繁殖专业，获博士学位。

　　现任西北农林科技大学副校长。教育部本科教学审核评估专家；全国农业硕士畜牧领域研究生培养协作组成员；《家畜生态学报》主编；兼任中国畜牧兽医学会家畜生态学分会理事长；陕西省畜牧业协会羊业分会会长。

　　二．研究方向

　　动物遗传资源研究、动物饲料资源与开发利用。目前，主要从事羊重要经济性状功能基因研究、羊精准基因编辑与种质创新、羊胃肠道微生物及基因工程菌的应用研究等。

　　三．开设课程

　　从教20年来，一直从事《羊生产学》（本科生）、《动物遗传繁育进展》（研究生）、《动物生产专题》（研究生）等课程的教学工作。已培养硕士研究生70余名，博士研究生10余名；目前在读硕士研究生11名，博士研究生13名。
