魏迎辉,男,1989年10月生,教授,博士生导师。入选国家“万人计划”青年拔尖人才、陕西省三秦英才引进计划、西北农林科技大学高层次人才支持计划。长期聚焦高效安全的基因编辑工具创新及具有优异性状的动物新种质创制等方向开展研究,以第一或通讯作者在Cell、Nature Chemical Biology、Nature Communications、Genome Biology等期刊发表多篇论文。主持农业生物育种重大项目-课题、国家自然科学基金生物育种专项、国家自然科学基金青年基金等多个项目。担任Journal of Genetics and Genomics、Agriculture Communications、Advanced Biotechnology等杂志的学术编辑或青年编委。

3. 主要研究方向

(1)利用分子生物学、细胞生物学结合生物信息学,进行基因编辑工具的开发及优化工作。

(2)利用优化的基因编辑工具结合动物克隆技术,进行绵山羊育种新材料的创制,主要包括抗病育种及相关经济性状育种方向的新品系(种)培育。
