一、个人简历
刘占江,男,生于1957年6月,陕西省吴旗县人,美国奥本大学农学院副院长、教授。1982年毕业于西北农林科技大学植物保护专业,1986年1990年分获美国明尼苏达大学硕士、博士学位;1991年-1994年在明尼苏达大学从事人类基因组研究;1995年至今在美国奥本大学从事鱼类分子遗传学与生物技术研究;2002年起为奥本大学教授博士生导师。现为美国奥本大学农学院副院长,中国国家自然基金委二审重要海外评委,水产养殖、海洋生物技术、动物生物技术等多家学术期刊编辑;同时被四川农业大学、上海水产大学、中国海洋大学等聘为客座教授;1999年-2003年被聘为我校客座教授,2010年聘为我校后稷学者讲座教授。刘占江教授长期从事鱼类遗传育种研究,特别是鱼类分子遗传和基因组学研究,并在鲶鱼和斑点叉尾?遗传育种研究上取得了卓越的成绩,因而在国际水产领域和动物分子生物学研究领域有很高的声誉。
