一、个人简历

　　刘占江，男，生于1957年6月，陕西省吴旗县人，美国奥本大学农学院副院长、教授。1982年毕业于西北农林科技大学植物保护专业，1986年1990年分获美国明尼苏达大学硕士、博士学位；1991年-1994年在明尼苏达大学从事人类基因组研究；1995年至今在美国奥本大学从事鱼类分子遗传学与生物技术研究；2002年起为奥本大学教授博士生导师。现为美国奥本大学农学院副院长，中国国家自然基金委二审重要海外评委，水产养殖、海洋生物技术、动物生物技术等多家学术期刊编辑；同时被四川农业大学、上海水产大学、中国海洋大学等聘为客座教授；1999年-2003年被聘为我校客座教授，2010年聘为我校后稷学者讲座教授。刘占江教授长期从事鱼类遗传育种研究，特别是鱼类分子遗传和基因组学研究，并在鲶鱼和斑点叉尾?遗传育种研究上取得了卓越的成绩，因而在国际水产领域和动物分子生物学研究领域有很高的声誉。
