RESEARCH INTERESTS

We mainly conduct research on molecular biology of the cattle genome, gene transcription regulation and epigenetics, and molecular genetics and breeding. We have now chaired more than 20 national and provincial-level research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation. We successively participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National 863 Program, the State Key Project on Genetically Modified Genetics, the National Support Plan, and the National Beef Cattle Yak Industry Technology System hosted by Prof. Chen Hong (2009-2015), Prof. Chu-zhao Lei (2016-2020, 2021- up to now), etc., project.

In recent years, more than 60 papers have been published as the first (including co-first author) or correspondent authors in 《Nature Communications》、《Science China-Life Sciences》、《BMC Genomics》、《Journal of Cellular Physiology》、《Functional & Integrative Genomics》、《Animal Genetics》、《Scientific Reports》、《PLoS One》、《Gene》、《Genome》、《Journal of Applied Genetics》、《Animal Biotechnology》.
