(1) Research on pathogens of aquatic animal diseases, including isolation, identification, protective antigens screening and pathogenic mechanism, etc.

(2) Fish novel genetic vaccines design, immunization procedure formulation, and immune protection evaluation

(3) Research on development of fish immunostimulant, molecular adjuvants and the immune function and disease resistance

(4) Research on interaction between pathogens and host.
