4. Main Research Direction

Insisting on efficient milk production and healthy breeding, aiming to improve the efficiency of lactose synthesis, focusing on the molecular nutritional regulatory network of liver gluconeogenesis in dairy cows, dissecting the important functions of the mTOR pathway in response to nutrients in dairy cattle diets; tapping nutritional targets regulating liver gluconeogenesis in dairy cows; establishing a theoretical system of gastrointestinal microbial-host interactions to modulate the efficiency of gluconeogenic synthesis; and developing nutritional regulation strategies to effectively enhance liver gluconeogenesis and milk production efficiency in dairy cows.
