He comprehensively applies multi-omics technologies including 3D genomics and epigenomics, integrated with quantitative genetics methods to analyze the genetic mechanisms of complex traits. His work focuses on developing molecular marker-assisted breeding technologies and is dedicated to genetic improvement and new strain development of local chicken breeds.
