Xiaopeng An

     

Basic Information

An Xiaopeng, Ph.D. (postdoctoral), Researcher, Ph.D. Supervisor. From 2003 to 2007, pursued undergraduate studies at Northwest A&F University. Followed by master's studies at the same university from 2007 to 2010. Completed doctoral studies from 2010 to 2013 at Northwest A&F University, and have been teaching at the university since. Presently hold the position of Chief Expert at the Heshui Dairy Sheep Experimental Demonstration Base of Northwest A&F University and serve as a Young Breeding Expert in the Yangling Demonstration Zone.

Honors and Awards

1.Doctoral dissertation titled "Selection of Candidate Genes for Goat Reproductive Traits and Study of Their Multi-Gene Aggregation Effects" was awarded the Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation of Shaanxi Province.

2. In 2019, was involved in the research and application of "Key Technologies for High-Quality Development of Dairy Goat Industry", which received the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Shaanxi Province (Fourth Place); the research on "Key Technologies for High-Quality and Efficient Dairy Goat Industry" earned the First Prize for Collaborative Innovation Achievements of Industry, Education, and Research in China (Second Place); in 2021, the integration and promotion of "Integrated Innovation and Promotion of Technical Standards for the Dairy Goat Industry Chain" achieved the First Prize for Agricultural Technology Promotion Results in Shaanxi Province (Second Place); in 2022, the construction and application of the "Integrated Development Model of the Dairy Goat Industry Chain" received the National Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Harvest Award - Agricultural Technology Promotion and Cooperation Award (Second Place).

3.Guided undergraduate students in their participation in the "Ecological Livestock Farm Planning and Design" project, which won the First Prize in individual performance and the Grand Prize in team performance at the 3rd National Animal Science Skills Competition. I was also honored with the Outstanding Guidance Teacher Award at the 3rd National Animal Science Skills Competition.

4. Participation in the "Three Visits to the Countryside" scientific and technological assistance to agriculture activity organized by the Communist Youth League Central Committee, resulted in my recognition as an Advanced Individual in the "Three Visits to the Countryside" Social Practice Activity.

5. The micro-course "Nutrition and Functions of Goat Milk" received the Second Prize in the National University Agriculture and Forestry Professional Micro-Course Teaching Competition.

6.Guided undergraduate students in the research project "Molecular Mechanism of CircRNA8220/miR-8516 Regulating Lactation and Apoptosis in Dairy Goat Mammary Epithelial Cells", which won the First Prize in the CULSC National College Student Life Science Competition.
