Jian-Hong Hu, Male, Born in January 1969, Bai Shui County of Shaanxi province, P.R. China, Han nationality; PhD, professor of animal science, doctoral supervisor of animal genetics breeding and reproduction professional, and zoology professional of Northwest A & F University. I also serve as executive director of the Reproduction Branch of the Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medical Association, chief scientist of the Modern Beef Cattle Industry Technology System of Shaanxi Province, and director of the Third Council of the Shaanxi Provincial Animal Husbandry Association, among other professional organizations.

From 2006 to now, I have been engaged in the research of animal genetics, breeding and reproduction in Northwest A & F University

Research Interests: My research focuses on animal reproductive physiology and control technology, and animal biotechnology. In recent years, I have presided over 20 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Transgenic Special Project, the National Key R&D Program, and the Shaanxi Provincial Key R&D Program.A primary focus is farm animal semen freezing,animal sex control technology, in vitro fertilization and embryonic development, spermatogonial stem cells inducing differentiating and transgenic animals,relationship between sertoli cell function and spermatogenesis.

Research Results and Awards:I have published more than 60 research articles , and I have applied for 13 patents and participated to write 18 books. In addition, I won the Silver Prize in the 2019 FENGDONG Cup Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Workers' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the First Prize in the 2020 FENGDONG Cup Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Workers' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the only Chinese finalist team in the Green Tech startup category of the 2020 World Cup of Entrepreneurship Global Finals, the Second Prize in the 2021 Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Workers' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the Third Prize in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Category of the 2022 National University Students' Life Science Competition, among other prizes.My doctoral dissertation of study on cryopreservation of boar semen had won outstanding paper award by Shaanxi Province in 2008. I have also accepted 5 honorary titles, including 4 outstanding teachers’ honorary titles of College of Animal Science and Technology, Northwestern A & F University.
