1. Basic Information

Qihang Hou, PHD degree.

The College of Animal Science and Technology, Northwest A&F University, associate professor.

2. Research Direction

My primary research focuses on the inflammatory mechanisms and nutritional regulation of immune responses in the gastrointestinal tracts of livestock and poultry. Utilizing a combination of various techniques including cell biology, molecular biology, and omics analyses, I investigate the immunological mechanisms by which the gastrointestinal tracts of livestock and poultry defend against infections caused by pathogenic microorganisms, as well as the mechanisms underlying the healing of inflamed intestinal mucosa.
